Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, test, and maintain applications across multiple technical landscapes.
• Design user flows, platform architecture, software patterns, and data models that support both current and future business requirements.
• Ensure adherence to application standards, coding best practices, and quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate with upstream and downstream application teams, as well as infrastructure teams, to ensure the overall success of application deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner, minimizing disruptions to business operations.
• Participate in disaster recovery efforts, including planning, testing, and coordinating user participation.
• Maintain relevant documentation and perform necessary updates based on changes or fixes.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware, including SOA, OSB, and Java development.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
• Proven experience with Java programming and related technologies.
• Expertise in Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies and development tools (SOA Suite, OSB, Java, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud solutions and Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Knowledge of Java Application servers such as Oracle WebLogic, Apache, or IBM WebSphere.
• Experience with SDLC activities in development projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Java Application Servers, Oracle Cloud Solutions, or PL/SQL is a plus.
• Familiarity with web technologies like HTML, XML, WSDL, and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of Oracle Database and PL/SQL using tools like TOAD/SQL Developer.
• Experience in the utility industry is highly desirable.
