Job Description

The Oracle ERP Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting technical solutions within Oracle ERP Cloud. This role focuses on building integrations, reports, data conversions, and extensions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), BI Publisher, PL/SQL, and related Oracle technologies. The developer works closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions, ensuring seamless data flow across Oracle ERP modules and external systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including REST/SOAP web services, file-based integrations, orchestration flows, and third-party system connectivity.
  • Build and enhance BI Publisher reports, including data models, RTF/XSLT templates, bursting logic, and scheduled report delivery.
  • Develop and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and scripts for data transformation, validation, and backend processing.
  • Implement and support bulk data extraction and integration solutions using BICC (BI Cloud Connector).
  • Design and execute FBDI and ADFdi templates for data migration, mass updates, and ongoing data loads.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across integrations, reports, and Oracle ERP Cloud extensions.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, integration mappings, test cases, and support guides.
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to Oracle best practices, security standards, and performance guidelines.
  • Participate in deployment activities, release cycles, regression testing, and production support.
  • Perform root cause analysis and performance tuning for integrations and reporting solutions in production environments.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including integrations, process automation, REST/SOAP APIs, and authentication methods (OAuth, Basic Auth).
  • Strong expertise in BI Publisher, including data models, report templates (RTF/XSLT), bursting, and scheduling.
  • Advanced PL/SQL development experience with strong knowledge of performance tuning and complex data processing.
  • Experience with BICC for enterprise-level data extraction and migration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with FBDI and ADFdi for data loads and mass updates.
  • Good understanding of Oracle ERP Cloud modules such as Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA), Procurement (PO), Cash Management, and related areas.
  • Ability to troubleshoot integration failures by analyzing logs and resolving technical issues efficiently.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services such as OCI Data Integration, Object Storage, Functions, and API Gateway.
  • Exposure to OTBI reporting and subject area customization.
  • Understanding of Oracle Cloud security model, including roles and privileges.
  • Experience with PaaS extensions, custom REST APIs, and Oracle Autonomous Database.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or similar deployment pipelines.
  • Oracle certifications in OIC, ERP Cloud, or OCI are an added advantage.
