We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle DBA Developer with extensive experience in database administration, development, and automation within multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Oracle database management, application tuning, and deployment strategies across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Microsoft Azure, and Amazon AWS. The role requires proficiency in scripting, troubleshooting, and integrating Oracle databases with third-party applications, as well as managing Oracle WebLogic Server.
Responsibilities
- Write, debug, and schedule automation scripts for Oracle database and application tasks.
- Manage environment variables and oversee configuration for optimal database performance.
- Develop and implement strategies for deploying Oracle workloads across multi-cloud platforms, including OCI, Microsoft Azure, and AWS.
- Perform Oracle database and application tuning; manage Oracle Exadata, RAC, Active Data Guard, and database patching.
- Integrate Oracle applications with third-party tools and services; deploy and maintain Oracle applications on Azure and other cloud platforms.
- Establish robust error-handling and logging mechanisms within scripts and processes.
- Administer Oracle WebLogic Server and ensure smooth operation of Oracle applications hosted on it.
- Use Oracle Fusion Middleware (Oracle FMW) for application development and integration.
- Implement security best practices and manage identity solutions with Oracle FMW.
- Utilize Oracle GRID, RMAN, Data Guard, and Enterprise Manager (EM) for comprehensive backup and recovery plans.
- Maintain version control for scripts and development tasks using tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.
- Automate Oracle database and application cloning processes and upgrade to Oracle Database 19c and beyond.
Required Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency with Oracle Database (19c, 12c) and Oracle Active Data Guard.
- Expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, and AWS.
- Skilled in Unix shell scripting and related scripting utilities; experience with Oracle Golden Gate.
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle WebLogic Server, and Oracle GRID.
- Proficiency in RMAN, Data Guard, and EM.
- Familiarity with Oracle FMW security and identity management practices.
- Experience in using Oracle Fusion Middleware for application development and managing versions using tools like JIRA and ServiceNow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) certification preferred.
- Solid experience with Oracle Exadata, RAC, Oracle Fusion Middleware, and WebLogic Server.
- Familiarity with project management and task-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
