Roles and Responsibilities

• Administer and support Oracle 19c databases in RAC (Real Application Clusters) environments.
• Implement and maintain Oracle Dataguard with Physical Standby configurations for disaster recovery.
• Manage RMAN backup and recovery processes to ensure data protection and availability.
• Use Oracle Data Pump (export/import) for data migration and maintenance.
• Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager for monitoring and performance tuning.
• Manage storage using ASM (Automatic Storage Management) on Linux platforms.
• Perform database tuning, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting of database issues.
• Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with standards.
• Create and maintain database documentation and operational procedures.
• Work collaboratively with application teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Oracle DBA, specifically with Oracle 19c.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC and Dataguard Physical Standby.
• Expertise in RMAN for backup and recovery.
• Proficiency in Oracle Data Pump, Enterprise Manager, and ASM on Linux.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with Linux or Unix system administration is a plus.
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server is a bonus.
