Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA / PeopleSoft Administrator with 8–15 years of experience supporting enterprise Oracle database and PeopleSoft environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, administration, upgrades, performance tuning, migrations, and production support of mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle databases in development, test, and production environments.
  • Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and support PeopleSoft applications and PeopleTools.
  • Perform database backup, recovery, cloning, refreshes, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Manage PeopleSoft environments, including WebLogic, Tuxedo, Process Scheduler, and Integration Broker.
  • Monitor system health and optimize database and application performance.
  • Support application deployments, migrations, and environment refresh activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database, application, and infrastructure issues.
  • Implement security controls, user management, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Required Skills
  • 8–15 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration and PeopleSoft Administration.
  • Strong experience with Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c or later).
  • Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Administration and PeopleTools upgrades.
  • Expertise in Oracle RMAN, Data Guard, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Experience with performance tuning, SQL optimization, and database monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
  • Experience supporting large-scale production environments and critical business applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with PeopleSoft upgrades, migrations, and cloud implementations.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud platforms.
  • Oracle Database or PeopleSoft certifications.
  • Experience with automation and monitoring tools.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and support multiple environments in a fast-paced enterprise setting.
