Perform day-to-day Oracle administration tasks and perform troubleshooting on the databases.
Design, implement, and maintain large-scale Oracle databases on AWS.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of databases using Oracle Golden Gate and Data Guard.
Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement database architectures that meet business requirements.
Perform database backups, restores, and maintenance tasks using Oracle RMAN and AWS S3.
Develop and maintain scripts to automate database administration tasks using languages such as SQL and shell scripting.
Participate in code reviews and ensure that the code is well-documented and follows the best.
Requirements
Experience with database migrations to AWS Cloud.
8+ years’ Experience with AWS Services like AWS RDS, Aurora, EC2, S3, DMS, AWS Backups, and DynamoDB.
8+ years Of experience in Oracle Golden Gate Replication Install, Configure, Upgrade, Support, & Troubleshoot.
8+ years’ Experience with the Design and deployment of Amazon Machine Images (AMI) for Database.
Experience in Production Environment, Like installing, configuring, Patch, Upgrade, and Support databases in Production.
Experience with AWS Cloud Service Provider Architecture deployment use cases and best practices.
Design, deploy, and support databases on EC2, AWS RDS, and VMware platforms.
Candidate should possess hands-on experience in working on some of the relational and non-relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL/MySQL/Golden Gate/Data Guard) on AWS or on-prem infrastructure.
Agile methodology and skill, including experience with Scrum Ceremonies and work management tools (e.g., (JIRA, Confluence).
