Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the upgrade of Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) from version 11.1.1.10.3 to 11.1.1.10.3 PS3 or PS4.
  • Utilize strong knowledge of Oracle Business Analytics Warehouse and Oracle BI Applications Configuration Manager (BIACM) to facilitate the upgrade process.
  • Manage, support, and optimize all ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) in OBIA 12c.
  • Design, develop, and test new ETL processes to populate the Reporting/Data Analytics Platform from various source systems.
  • Develop and maintain data warehouse reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions using Oracle Business Intelligence tools.
  • Perform end-to-end design, coding, testing, review, and implementation of solutions using OBIEE 12c and Oracle BI Applications.
  • Write and optimize complex PL/SQL scripts for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Utilize Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) coding to ensure efficient data processing and transformation.
  • Conduct data queries to analyze existing warehouse structures and support decision-making processes.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize ETL jobs to ensure they meet established service level agreements (SLAs).

 

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle Business Analytics Warehouse and Oracle BI Applications Configuration Manager tool.
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience with OBIEE/OBIA upgrades, specifically the upgrade from version 11.1.1.10.3.
  • Proficient in PL/SQL with a demonstrated ability to write and optimize complex queries.
  • Experience with ETL processes and tools, particularly Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Familiarity with Oracle BI Applications and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
