Roles and Responsibilities

• OpenText Xenos Consultant with expertise in document transformation and accessibility tagging.
• The candidate should have worked on converting documents into accessible formats (PDF/UA, WCAG) and optimizing document workflows using OpenText Xenos solutions.
• Convert and transform documents into accessible formats using OpenText Xenos d2e/Xenos Enterprise Server.
• Implement PDF accessibility tagging.
• Ensure compliance with Section 508, WCAG, and PDF/UA accessibility standards.
• Automate bulk document processing and optimize transformation workflows.
• Troubleshoot document formatting issues and enhance output quality.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand accessibility requirements.
• Integrate Xenos solutions with existing document management systems.

Required experience/skills

• 2-5 years of experience in OpenText Xenos (d2e, Enterprise Server, or related tools).
• Strong understanding of document accessibility standards (PDF/UA, WCAG, Section 508).
• Experience in document conversion formats (PDF, XML, HTML, Word).
• Basic knowledge of XPath, XML transformations, or scripting for customization.
• Familiarity with automation of document processing workflows.
• Experience with other OpenText solutions (e.g., Content Server, Documentum).
• Exposure to document management and compliance regulations.
• Knowledge of PDF remediation tools (Adobe Acrobat, ABBYY FineReader, or Equidox).
