We are looking for a skilled OpenShift Solution Architect with deep expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-grade containerized applications on RedHat OpenShift. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with HELM, Ansible, Terraform, and relational databases like PostgreSQL / AlloyDB Omni, providing end-to-end architecture and automation solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient solutions on RedHat OpenShift.
- Create and manage deployment automation using HELM charts and Ansible playbooks.
- Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform as Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Provide architecture guidance for containerized applications and cloud-native workloads.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and cloud teams to optimize deployment pipelines.
- Ensure best practices for CI/CD, security, monitoring, and observability in OpenShift environments.
- Evaluate and integrate relational database solutions, such as PostgreSQL or AlloyDB Omni, where required.
- Maintain clear documentation of architecture decisions, designs, and implementation strategies.
Required Technical Skills
- 7–8 years of experience as an OpenShift/Kubernetes Solution Architect.
- Expertise in RedHat OpenShift, HELM, and Ansible.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and AlloyDB Omni is a plus.
- Strong understanding of container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architecture.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools for OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 6+ years of relevant solution architecture experience.
