Job Description
Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Engineer to design, deploy, administer, and support enterprise OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of container platforms while supporting application teams and CI/CD integration.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Deploy, configure, administer, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters.
  • Manage the complete cluster lifecycle, including installation, provisioning, upgrades, patching, scaling, backup, and recovery.
  • Monitor cluster health, performance, capacity, and availability, and implement proactive improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenShift, Kubernetes, networking, storage, containers, and platform services.
  • Support and integrate CI/CD pipelines with container platforms to enable automated application deployments.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices, including RBAC, authentication, secrets management, and compliance requirements.
  • Configure and manage platform components such as Operators, Ingress, Routes, Persistent Storage, and Container Registry.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure successful application deployments and platform operations.
  • Develop and maintain automation using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools where applicable.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes administration.
  • Experience with Linux system administration.
  • Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker or CRI-O.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Tekton.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, ingress, and storage in Kubernetes environments.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK/EFK stack.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Red Hat OpenShift certifications (preferred).
  • Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
