We are seeking an experienced OCI/AWS Technical Architect with strong expertise in multi-cloud architecture, cloud networking, security, and data integration across OCI, AWS, and Snowflake environments. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud solutions supporting enterprise data movement and integration workloads.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and support hybrid and multi-cloud architectures across OCI and AWS
- Configure and manage OCI networking components including VCN, DRG, subnets, NSGs, routing, VPN, and FastConnect
- Configure AWS networking services including VPC, Transit Gateway, Security Groups, NAT, NACLs, and Direct Connect
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and data engineering teams to implement secure cloud connectivity and trust models
- Architect and support data extraction pipelines from Fusion → OCI → AWS → Snowflake
- Design and optimize rclone-based data transfer patterns between OCI Object Storage and AWS S3
- Support BICC data pipelines including full/incremental loads, checksum validation, and retry mechanisms
- Ensure integration alignment with Snowflake ingestion methods including Snowpipe, External Stages, and COPY INTO
- Provide recommendations for DR, backup, failover, high availability, and latency optimization across cloud environments
- Automate cloud provisioning and deployments using Terraform, Ansible, Python, or scripting tools
- Implement cloud logging, monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards using OCI Logging, AWS CloudWatch, and CloudTrail
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and data transfer issues across cloud platforms
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with OCI Core Services:
- VCN, DRG, Compute, Object Storage, IAM, VPN, FastConnect
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Core Services:
- VPC, Transit Gateway, EC2, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda (preferred)
- Expertise in hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architectures
- Experience with secure data movement and high-volume data pipelines
- Strong knowledge of:
- rclone, BICC, ESS APIs, epmautomate
- Snowflake External Stages, Snowpipe, COPY INTO
- Good understanding of Linux systems, checksum validation, and log ingestion
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines
