Responsibilities

• Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve performance bottlenecks through post-incident evaluations and remediations.
• Conduct performance tests, identify optimization opportunities, and ensure the software stack is operating at peak efficiency.
• Actively participate in the Agile development process as a key member of the scrum team, ensuring alignment with engineering and business objectives.
• Analyze failure patterns and incident trends, and collaborate with the team to develop strategies for minimizing failures and improving reliability.
• Design and implement automated solutions for software upgrades, change management, and release management to streamline operations.
• Leverage your experience to identify areas for continuous improvement and implement best practices for system observability, monitoring, and automation.

Required Experience

• 8-10 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Observability Engineering.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements in complex systems.
• Strong background in monitoring, observability, and performance testing tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, Datadog).
• Experience with cloud environments, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of root-cause analysis, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating closely with developers, operations, and product teams.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and effectively.
