We are seeking a hands-on technician to support engineering hardware builds through material management, inventory control, and shipping/logistics coordination. The role requires strong attention to detail, security compliance, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced NPI environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, pack, label, and track engineering materials for hardware builds
- Maintain and fulfill requests from the engineering material library (MLBs, flexes, modules, components)
- Manage inbound/outbound shipments, including customs documentation, tracking, and DRP updates
- Update and maintain unit records in iTrack; complete re-allocations within 24 hours
- Ensure chain-of-custody and security compliance for sensitive/high-value materials
- Coordinate with SRM, DHX, customs, carriers, and trade compliance teams
- Provide daily allocation and shipment status reports by 5:00 PM PT
- Support hardware rework logistics and track outbound/inbound returns
- Execute inventory cleanouts with proper documentation and secure disposal coordination
- Escalate shipment delays, customs holds, and discrepancies promptly
Required Skills
- 2+ years in inventory management, logistics, or material handling
- Experience verifying shipments against packing lists, POs, and invoices
- Knowledge of domestic/international shipping and customs documentation (HS Codes)
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Proficiency with email, Slack/Webex, and spreadsheet tools
- Experience handling sensitive materials with strict chain-of-custody.
Preferred Skills
- NPI, engineering lab, or consumer electronics build experience
- Familiarity with iTrack, DHX, DRP workflows
- Customs clearance and trade compliance exposure
- Experience with hardware components (PCBs, flexes, modules, etc.)
- Warehouse/stockroom experience in high-security environments
