Role Summary:

We are looking for a senior Node.js Architect / Lead who can own and support the entire program end-to-end. The ideal candidate should be confident interacting directly with the client, handling complex discussions, and providing architectural guidance across teams. Client is highly demanding and detail-oriented, so strong communication, confidence, and decision-making ability are critical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Technical Architect & Program Lead for Node.js based applications
• Lead system architecture, design decisions, and technical strategy
• Work directly with client stakeholders and handle high-pressure discussions
• Support and guide development teams across the program
• Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of backend systems
• Oversee integrations with eCommerce and product systems

Must-Have Skills:

• Node.js (Expert level)
• Backend architecture & system design
• Client-facing experience (must be able to confidently present & defend solutions)
• Program ownership mindset

Good to Have / Prefrred Skills:

• E-commerce domain experience (highly preferred)
• PIM (Product Information Management) experience (Akeneo, Salsify, inRiver, Pimcore, etc.)
• Experience working in large enterprise / retail environments
