Responsibilities:

• Designing, coding, and debugging server-side applications using Node.js
• Developing RESTful APIs and integrating them with front-end interfaces
• Collaborating with software architects and product owners to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs
• Implementing and maintaining database schemas and data models
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices
• Conducting thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and performance of applications
• Working with version control systems and participating in code reviews
• Collaborating with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and release processes
• Staying up to date with the latest Node.js frameworks, libraries, and best practices
• Mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance and support

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Proven experience as a Node.js Developer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and working with databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions
