Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and architecture of Node.js applications and services.
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable backend services and APIs.
• Develop high-performance, reusable, and modular code.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior developers, guiding them through best practices and technical challenges.
• Review and write technical documentation for the development process, APIs, and other system components.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Implement security and data protection best practices in backend development.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in Node.js and backend development.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with Node.js, Express.js, and other related frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integrating third-party services.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming (Promises, async/await).
• Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL, e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and containerization (Docker).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
