Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide advanced network support for enterprise network environments, focusing on network routing and switching.
• Participate in installation, configuration, and performance analysis of networks.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex network issues across a range of technologies (Arista, Cisco, MPLS, VPN, etc.).
• Manage and support dynamic routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS), network automation tools (Python, Ansible), and monitoring platforms (SolarWinds, Cisco DNA).
• Handle high-severity incidents and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain network operations support during EST hours (8 AM - 5 PM) and participate in rotating on-call support.
• Ensure compliance with Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Request Management processes.
• Provide technical documentation, manuals, and reports as required.
• Work collaboratively with other teams and vendors (e.g., Cisco, Arista, TAC).
• Analyze network performance, propose solutions, and implement system improvements.
• Apply patches and upgrades as per customer recommendations.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and best practices related to network security and operations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience with Arista switches (CVP, MLAG, EOS), Cisco routers and switches (Nexus, Catalyst), and network automation tools (Python, Ansible).
• Proficiency in dynamic routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS) and network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark).
• Strong knowledge of MPLS, IPSec VPN, LAN/WAN technologies, and Data Center network infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus (7000, 9300, 5500 series), ASR/ISR routers, and Wireless LAN Controllers.
• Ability to work with high-priority incidents and follow incident management processes.
• Familiarity with FortiGate, Cisco Firepower Firewall, Cisco ISE, and F5 BIG IP LTM is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, ITIL) are preferred.
