Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize complex LAN architectures, including Cisco SDA, DNAC, VXLAN, ACI, and SDN-based solutions.
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of LAN solutions with data center and cloud infrastructures.
• Provide technical guidance on Local Area Network switching technologies, including VLAN, Spanning Tree, and VTP.
• Utilize advanced monitoring and alerting tools such as Cisco DNAC, Cisco ISE, PagerDuty, Nagios, Thousand Eyes, CloudWatch, Grafana, Zabbix, and Site24x7 to ensure optimal network performance.
• Develop and present detailed concepts, design proposals, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Provide ongoing support and optimization of LAN infrastructure to meet business and operational requirements.
• Establish and enforce best practices for network security, scalability, and redundancy in LAN design.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Stay current with emerging networking technologies and incorporate best practices into LAN designs.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8-10 years of professional experience in network architecture, with a focus on LAN design and implementation.
• Strong expertise in Cisco SDA (Software-Defined Access), DNAC, and cloud networking solutions.
• Deep knowledge of IP addressing and Variable Length Subnet Masking (VLSM).
• Extensive experience with LAN switching technologies, including SDA, DNAC, VXLAN, ACI, fabric path, Spanning Tree, VLAN, and VTP.
• Proficiency with monitoring and alerting tools: Cisco DNAC, Cisco ISE, PagerDuty, Nagios, Thousand Eyes, CloudWatch, Grafana, Zabbix, and Site24x7.
• Ability to design and implement data center networking technologies and cloud solutions in LAN environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex networking issues.
• High-level communication and interpersonal skills to influence and persuade stakeholders, present technical concepts, and collaborate effectively across teams.
