Responsibilities

• Architect and design robust, scalable network solutions to support global retail sites, corporate offices, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Lead implementation, optimization, and management of Cisco Meraki wireless and switching infrastructure.
• Design and operate Cisco SD-WAN deployments ensuring resilient, cost-effective, and high-performance connectivity across distributed locations.
• Engineer and maintain secure network environments using Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Panorama, and Prisma cloud services.
• Develop and maintain routing and switching architectures using protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and OMP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network designs with business and application requirements.
• Conduct regular network assessments, capacity planning, and performance tuning to optimize network health.
• Create and update comprehensive network documentation including topology diagrams, configuration standards, and design guides.
• Evaluate emerging networking technologies and provide recommendations to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Serve as a technical lead on network projects and mentor junior network engineers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering, specializing in design and architecture within global enterprise or retail environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of Cisco Meraki and SD-WAN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Panorama, and security policy management.
• Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, OMP) and network infrastructure design best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud networking architectures (Azure, AWS) and hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools such as Meraki Dashboard, SolarWinds, and Cisco vManage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Relevant certifications highly desirable, including CCNP, Cisco Meraki CMNA/CMNO, and Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing and supporting retail store networks, including POS systems, guest Wi-Fi, and IoT devices.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and network segmentation strategies.
• Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) for network configuration and monitoring.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive technical strategy.
