Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Juniper switches, ensuring network configurations meet performance and security requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including connectivity problems, performance bottlenecks, and software bugs.
• Perform software upgrades and firmware patches for Juniper equipment to ensure network reliability and security.
• Independently lead and manage network upgrade projects, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate network connectivity and resolve any issues related to network upgrades.
• Experience in hospital or healthcare environments is preferred but not required.
• Be mindful of the unique requirements of healthcare networks, including security and uptime expectations

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Juniper switches (Junos OS).
• Proven ability to independently lead and execute network upgrades.
• Experience with network troubleshooting, including diagnosing connectivity issues and resolving hardware/software problems.
• Ability to validate network performance and ensure high availability post-upgrade.
• Comfortable working in healthcare environments, understanding the importance of network security and uptime.
• Ability to travel locally between facilities and work on weekends as required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in healthcare or hospital networks is a plus.
• Additional certifications such as Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional (JNCIP).
