Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement network architectures and solutions, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks, to meet business requirements and objectives.
• Configure and deploy network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Ensure proper network segmentation and connectivity.
• Monitor network performance and availability using network management tools. Identify and address performance issues and bottlenecks.
• Diagnose and resolve network-related issues, including connectivity problems, hardware failures, and configuration errors. Provide on-call support as needed.
• Implement and enforce network security policies and practices, including firewall rules, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN configurations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, diagrams, policies, and procedures. Document changes and updates to the network infrastructure.
• Plan and manage network capacity to accommodate growing business needs, including hardware upgrades, network expansions, and optimization.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to procure, install, and support network hardware and services.
• Ensure that network systems comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. 
• Minimum of [8] years of experience in network engineering or a related role, with a strong background in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista) and software.
• Familiarity with network management and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).
• Fortinet switches, access points, and firewalls, including SDWAN and FortiLink
• Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and wireless technologies
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and network troubleshooting techniques
