Job Responsibilities

• Network Architect will plan, design, and implement data communication networks to meet an organization's needs.
• Monitor the network and perform modeling tasks to assess future needs.
• Overseeing the installation and implementation of computer network systems, and maintaining documentation
• Installing new software and hardware, and analyzing network performance
• Providing troubleshooting assistance for complex issues 
• Implementing firewalls and content filters to secure data and communications without affecting network performance 
• Ensuring projects run on schedule and managing all network-related tasks and issues
• Day-to-day high-level operational support
• Infrastructure upgrades expansions changes to be made 
• Adding Nexus to their environment

Required Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in designing and managing data communication networks, including LAN, WAN, and cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software.
• Proficiency in network security practices, including firewall and content filtering technologies.
• Experience with Nexus switches and other advanced networking technologies.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and performance analysis tools.

Required Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in network design, implementation, and management.
• Proven experience with complex network environments and large-scale network projects.
