Responsibilities

• Define and execute test plans for network and optics systems
• Develop and implement automated testing solutions
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in network and optics systems
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
• Document testing procedures and results
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network and optics technologies

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 5 to 10 years of experience in testing network and optics systems
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and standards such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, and MPLS
• Experience with network testing tools such as Wireshark and Ixia
• Familiarity with optics technologies such as fiber optics and optical amplifiers
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Perl
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
