Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain software applications that integrate linear programming techniques to solve complex optimization problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement optimization solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.
  • Optimize existing algorithms and models using AMPL (A Mathematical Programming Language) and CPLEX (a high-performance mathematical programming solver) to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Integrate linear programming solutions with existing systems and applications, ensuring seamless operation and data flow.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software designs, optimization models, and integration processes.

 

Required Qualifications/Skills
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, or related technical field/or equivalent work experience
  • 6 years of experience in business software application design, development, integration and/or installation
  • Technical knowledge with hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL database and stored procedures (Transact-SQL) development
  • Technical knowledge with hands-on experience in .NET/C# and other current computing programming languages
  • Technical knowledge with hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, Visual Studio, TFS, GIT, WPF, RDLC, and ADO a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of programming, integration, and application security models; And proficiency with a variety of software development tools
  • Advanced knowledge of open systems object design methodologies, architecture methodologies, security practices and integration techniques
  • Knowledge of relational database technology, structured analysis concepts, and software design patterns
