Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of software products, managing large codebases and multiple integrations.
• Anticipate business needs, influencing platform, architecture, and infrastructure decisions.
• Drive collaboration across multiple product teams, ensuring alignment on engineering strategies and best practices.
• Provide direction on software design, mitigate technical debt, and introduce evolving technologies like Cloud, SaaS, and new UI frameworks.
• Define and enforce development standards, supporting the wider engineering community.
• Advise on tools, frameworks, and procurement to ensure effective delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across technology stacks and business lines.
• Foster a culture of innovation and ongoing learning within the team.
• Identify integration opportunities across tools and drive efficiencies in development processes.
• Implement best practices for monitoring and alerting to enhance service capabilities.

Key Qualifications

• Proven experience as a .NET Architect, with a strong background in cloud-based architectures (AWS preferred).
• Hands-on experience with AWS containerized deployments and migrating .NET applications to AWS environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in transforming and modernizing legacy applications and databases.
• In-depth understanding of modern UI frameworks and experience in decoupling legacy UIs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of influencing technical decisions and driving outcomes across multiple teams.

Skills

• Certified AWS Solution Architect - Associate level or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in migrating and upgrading legacy .NET applications (including Webforms, WCF, Silverlight, etc.) to .NET 8.
• Expertise in .NET 8 application deployment within AWS container-based environments.
• Proficient in decoupling and upgrading legacy .NET UI to modern UI technologies.
• Strong experience in transforming Oracle databases to AWS PostgreSQL databases.
