The Multimedia Design Contractor candidate will be required to rapidly design and develop various multimedia elements to support employee learning and development initiatives as well as business unit objectives across the organization with a heavy emphasis on layout and composition, presentation and eLearning development. The ideal candidate would display advanced understanding of graphic design concepts applied to the learning environment reflected through their use and strong skill in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and PowerPoint.
The candidate will also possess a moderately strong working knowledge of Articulate products, such as Storyline and Rise, and other Adobe Creative Suite products such as: Premier, Audition, Aftereffects, and Photoshop.
The candidate will also have an understanding of user experience theory to and its impact on design to create effective material.
The ability to maintain a positive attitude and thrive in a creatively collaborative environment is a requirement for this role.
The ability to think critically is a plus as this position will require the designer to interpret complex content in order to produce effective designs for the material.
Experience working as in-house designer at large corporations is an advantage, regardless of the industry.
