Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement MuleSoft integrations and APIs, with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
• Architect and build robust MuleSoft solutions, including complex integrations using Oracle, Hadoop, SQL, Kafka, .NET connectors, and other technologies.
• Develop and enforce best practices for MuleSoft development, ensuring solutions are optimized for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Lead the development of secure APIs, ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement integration requirements, technical solutions, and enhancements.
• Work on API-led connectivity strategies and design, and assist in the implementation of API gateways.
• Implement and optimize MuleSoft components, including fragments, templates, and error-handling frameworks.
• Leverage logging and error-handling frameworks for robust troubleshooting and system monitoring.
• Design and implement data models and data validation processes that align with integration and business requirements.
• Manage sensitive information by implementing property value encryption and ensuring compliance with security guidelines, particularly when using Object Store.
• Build and maintain scheduled jobs and ensure the detection and handling of duplicate data within integrations.
• Create and maintain SQL-based solutions, including stored procedures and SQL queries for integration with various backend systems.

Required Skills/Experience

• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in software development with at least 5 years of experience working as a Mule Architect.
• 3+ years of experience in Mule 4.x with hands-on experience designing and developing MuleSoft solutions.
• Solid development experience using various connectors such as Oracle, Hadoop, SQL, Kafka, and .NET.
• Proven ability to design and implement secure APIs, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• In-depth knowledge of MuleSoft best practices, including the use of fragments, templates, error handling frameworks, and logging.
• Proficiency in SQL programming, including writing stored procedures and creating optimized SQL queries.
• Strong experience in implementing API-led connectivity architectures and understanding of API Gateway configurations.
• Good understanding of session management in distributed systems and API-based integrations.
