We are seeking a highly skilled MQ Exit Developer with strong C programming expertise to maintain, enhance, and modernize custom IBM MQ exits within an enterprise messaging environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in low-level C development, IBM MQ internals, multithreaded programming, and enterprise messaging security.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in C programming and low-level systems development.
- Extensive experience with IBM MQ (IBM WebSphere MQ).
- Proven experience developing and maintaining IBM MQ channel exits, security exits, API exits, and message exits.
- Strong understanding of IBM MQ architecture, channel communication, and messaging protocols.
- Experience with multithreaded programming, thread safety, concurrency, and memory management.
- Proficiency in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of C applications.
- Experience supporting mission-critical messaging platforms in production environments.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and enterprise messaging security.
- Experience with LDAP and REST API integrations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience Requirements
- 8–13 years of overall IT and software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in C programming and IBM MQ exit development.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining custom MQ exits in multithreaded production environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise messaging systems with high reliability, performance, and security requirements.
