Mobile Architect (iOS & Android)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end mobile architecture for iOS and Android platforms
• Design scalable modular systems (feature-based, layered, plugin/super-app)
• Drive adoption of SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose
• Architect reusable SDKs (auth, networking, design systems)
• Lead integration of advanced device capabilities (BLE, UWB, NFC, sensors, gestures)
• Design offline-first systems with sync and caching strategies
• Define and enforce security standards (OAuth2, PKCE, encryption, secure storage)
• Improve performance (startup time, rendering, memory, battery)
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and release management practices
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical governance
• Collaborate with backend teams on APIs and data strategy
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership
• Evaluate emerging technologies (KMP, AI, edge computing)

Qualifications

• 10+ years in mobile development
• 5+ years in architecture/technical leadership
• Strong experience in iOS and Android platforms
• Proven ability to design scalable mobile systems
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
