Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage testing efforts for mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Utilize testing tools such as XCode and Charles Proxy to facilitate thorough testing and debugging of mobile applications.
• Apply strong knowledge of software testing fundamentals, including various testing types (functional, regression, performance, etc.) to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Conduct API testing to validate the functionality and reliability of backend services that support mobile applications.
• Create and execute detailed test scenarios and test cases, ensuring thorough documentation and reporting of test results and defects.
• Possess basic knowledge of database technologies (e.g., PLSQL, MySQL) to assist in backend testing and data validation.
• Gain familiarity with automation tools and techniques to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work collaboratively within an Agile development model, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Exhibit excellent communication and coordination skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mobile application testing (iOS and Android).
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools like XCode and Charles Proxy.
• Experience in API testing and familiarity with related tools.
• Ability to create comprehensive test scenarios and report findings effectively.
• Basic knowledge of database technologies such as PLSQL or MySQL.
• Exposure to automation testing tools is a plus.
• Previous experience working in a Mac/iOS environment is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
