Job Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing on both iOS and Android mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and compatibility across different devices and operating systems.
• Develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases, execute them effectively, and document the results.
• Perform API testing to validate the backend functionality and data exchange between the mobile application and the server.
• Identify, report, and track defects using issue tracking tools, ensuring that bugs are addressed in a timely manner.
• Conduct performance testing to ensure the mobile app performs well under different conditions, including load and stress testing.
• Explore and utilize automation tools and techniques to automate repetitive test cases, improving testing efficiency and coverage.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in an Agile development environment to ensure quality standards are met.
• Set up and maintain testing environments, including XCode for iOS and Android Studio for Android testing.
• Conduct basic database testing using PLSQL, MySQL, or any other relevant database technologies to ensure proper data storage and retrieval.
• Create and maintain detailed test reports, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement based on testing results.

Job Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in testing mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring they meet functional, performance, and security requirements.
• Proficiency in testing tools like XCode (for iOS testing) and Charles Proxy for network traffic analysis and debugging.
• Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals, including different testing types such as functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Experience in API testing, including using tools like Postman or Swagger to test RESTful APIs.
• Expertise in creating test scenarios, writing detailed test cases, executing them, and reporting the results with actionable insights.
• Basic understanding of PLSQL, MySQL, or any other relational database technology to validate data and troubleshoot issues.
• Exposure to automation tools and techniques to automate mobile application testing processes, improving efficiency and coverage.
• Experience working in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality is maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document test results clearly and interact with stakeholders effectively.
