Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of middleware integration projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and successful outcomes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, understanding their requirements, providing updates, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and testers, to ensure smooth project execution and integration.
  • Provide guidance and technical leadership on IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, IBM Sterling File Gateway, and related middleware solutions.
  • Assist in the integration of EDI systems (X12, EDIFACT), and communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTP) between different enterprise systems.
  • Address and resolve technical and business challenges related to integration and data flow between systems.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure that integrations meet industry standards and customer expectations, conducting thorough testing and validation.
  • Assist in the training of end users and support teams, providing guidance on system functionality and best practices.

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing middleware and B2B integration projects, specifically with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and IBM Sterling File Gateway.
  • Strong understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTP).
  • Proficiency in Java, XML, XSLT, and other relevant programming languages used for middleware integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.
  • Knowledge of other IBM Sterling products such as IBM Sterling Order Management.
  • Experience with SPEC2000 format (desirable).
