Roles and Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, monitor, and maintain applications on IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM Integration Bus (IIB) environments.
• Perform administration and maintenance of ACE, IIB, and IBM DataPower appliances.
• Implement and manage Web Service Proxies, Multi-Protocol Gateways, and XML Firewall services.
• Administer and support IBM MQ, including configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of queues, channels, listeners, and intercommunication on Windows and UNIX platforms.
• Develop and support SOAP and RESTful web services, ensuring high security and performance.
• Work with WSDL, XSD, XML, XSLT, XPATH, and JSON for service integration.
• Perform deployment and performance tuning of ACE and MQ applications in production and non-production environments.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues related to MQ, IIB, and DataPower.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and network/security teams for application deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure robust security using SSL/TLS, WS-Security, and federated identity mechanisms.
• Nice to have: Experience with IBM API Connect, Red Hat OpenShift, and Kubernetes for containerized deployments and orchestration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IBM ACE/IIB administration and deployment.
• Strong expertise in IBM DataPower Gateway and Web Services security implementations.
• Deep understanding of SOA architecture, SOAP/REST APIs, and related technologies.
• Working experience with IBM MQ in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with middleware monitoring, log analysis, and performance tuning tools.
• Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP and interprocess communication.
• Solid experience in UNIX/Linux/Windows environments.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IBM API Connect administration.
• Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, or other container platforms.
• Middleware certifications (e.g., IBM Certified Administrator).
