Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert technical support for conference room AV systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues quickly and effectively.
  • Configure, maintain, and remotely manage AV equipment across multiple meeting spaces to ensure optimal performance.
  • Offer technical support for Microsoft Teams Meetings, helping to resolve issues and ensure successful virtual collaboration.
  • Support large group meetings and events, providing technical assistance as needed to ensure smooth AV operations.
  • Conduct regular system inspections in meeting rooms to ensure the health and functionality of AV and network equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, configurations, and documentation of AV equipment and system performance.
  • Oversee Resource Account provisioning and decommissioning, including managing visibility in the Global Address List (GAL).
  • Provide executive-level support for video conferencing, ensuring high-quality experiences for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with IT and AV teams to ensure compatibility and integration of room peripherals such as microphones, cameras, displays, and speakers.

 

Required Skills and Expertise
  • Microsoft Teams Pro Portal and Intune for meeting room configuration management.
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Defender.
  • Strong knowledge of room systems cabling, troubleshooting, and camera placement, including factors like lighting, proximity, and focus.
  • Proficiency in working with and supporting Cisco, Logitech, and Surface HUBs video conferencing equipment to ensure high-quality video conferencing experiences.
  • Experience with the integration and troubleshooting of room peripherals, including microphones, displays, schedulers, speakers, and transmitters.
  • Expertise in E911, Free/Busy, automatic calendar options, and mapping Civic Addresses, Longitudes, and Latitudes for emergency services.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory Users and Computers.
  • Familiarity with VLANs and network architecture.
  • Knowledge of DSP (Digital Signal Processing) and modulation in AV systems.

 

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with high-level troubleshooting of AV systems in corporate environments.
  • Ability to manage complex network and AV infrastructure setups for large organizations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve urgent technical issues.
