Responsibilities

• Architect and design a Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse using OneLake and medallion architecture principles.
• Lead the implementation of a new Azure/Microsoft Fabric-based data lake platform.
• Design and oversee the migration of data from on-premise Oracle systems to Microsoft Fabric.
• Define data architecture standards, best practices, and reference architectures for analytics and BI workloads.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and compliant data solutions supporting advanced analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Guide data modeling, integration, governance, and security strategies across the data platform.
• Provide architectural leadership and technical direction throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and architecting Lakehouse solutions in Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong expertise in OneLake architecture, Azure Data Lake, and medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Deep understanding of data fabric design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of data lake architecture, data modeling, integration, governance, and security.
• Hands-on experience migrating data from on-premise systems (especially Oracle) to cloud platforms.
• Ability to design unified, scalable, and compliant data architectures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead architecture discussions across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting advanced analytics, AI/ML, and enterprise BI use cases.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric components such as Lakehouse, Warehouses, Data Pipelines, and Power BI.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise data modernization initiatives.
