Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provide infrastructure and application support in a production environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows servers, virtualization platforms, and end-user environments.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, problem tickets, and change activities through successful resolution.
  • Administer and support Microsoft Active Directory and related identity services.
  • Support Microsoft technologies, VMware virtualization platforms, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Participate in scheduled on-call rotations to support production environments.
  • Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
  • Collaborate with engineering, networking, security, and operations teams to ensure platform stability.
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, maintenance, and platform enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and operational best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience administering Microsoft Active Directory in enterprise environments.
  • Expertise with VMware vSphere, PowerCLI, and/or vSphere SDKs.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware Horizon.
  • Strong knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) management.
  • Experience with block-level and file-level storage protocols, SAN switching, enterprise storage arrays, and replication technologies.
  • Technical understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and the Microsoft Entra Admin Center.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra Connect (formerly Azure AD Connect).
  • Working knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including certificate management and authentication services.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server administration, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity lifecycle management.
  • Experience with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes.
