Mechanical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, estimate, coordinate, and oversee all phases of mechanical construction projects, ensuring alignment with specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.
• Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary construction team, promoting a collaborative, high-performance, and safety-focused environment.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to drive efficient, on-time, and cost-effective project delivery.
• Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, facilities, and commissioning teams to address design modifications and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing transparent updates on project progress and resolving concerns promptly.
• Enforce rigorous document control standards, ensuring proper incorporation of RFIs into final record drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in industrial or manufacturing sectors, including ground-up or retrofit projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and process systems.
• Proficiency in material take-offs and estimating from construction drawings.
• Expertise in construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance, and variance analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proactive and results-driven approach to project challenges.
