Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide drafting mentorship, Checking, and Releasing support to NPI, CPI, and Production engineering teams.
• Engaging with multiple engineering process partners from design to release, including supply chain and aftermarket support.
• Review Engineering Design drawings, models, and notices to Customer’s Engineering Standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering designers on areas of opportunity to improve quality defects.
• Analyzing and testing existing products to identify areas for improvement.
• Writing detailed operational procedures.
• Developing and building prototypes to test their function.

Qualifications/Skills

• Proficiency in common design software, such as AutoCAD and 3D Warehouse.
• Experience with Powertrain Design required.
• Project management and leadership skills
• Product-focused creative thinking
• Organization and effective time management
• In-depth knowledge of industry design principles
• Have GD&T knowledge.
