Key Responsibilities

• Perform Mechanical Design Validation Testing (MDVT) on electromechanical products, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Set up prototypes in the lab for various MDVT tests, including thermocouple installation, vibration bench setup, and wind tunnel operations.
• Apply knowledge of telecom test standards (e.g., GR, NEBS) to ensure products meet regulatory and performance requirements.
• Work closely with Hardware, Safety, EMC/EMI, SI, and Manufacturing Engineers to ensure thorough and accurate product testing.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools to generate reports, track test data, and document findings and recommendations.
• Suggest improvements based on test results and collaborate with design teams to optimize product performance.

Required Skills

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of experience in electromechanical product testing or validation.
• Experience with telecom product testing and standards (e.g., GR, NEBS) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in setting up and conducting various MDVT tests (thermal, vibration, wind tunnel, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience generating detailed reports and test documentation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other engineering teams (e.g., Hardware, Safety, EMC, SI).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge or experience with telecom equipment product testing.
• Proficiency in lab equipment setup for various testing environments, including vibration, thermal, and environmental tests.
