Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement operational and business health monitoring tools to support production teams.
• Enhance day-to-day activities through improved monitoring, alerting, and issue resolution processes.
• Establish well-defined procedures and runbooks for triage and resolution of issues.
• Build strong teams focused on prioritized objectives, driving them toward successful outcomes.
• Maintain a real-time feedback loop with development teams to identify design and coding improvements that can prevent future issues.
• Advocate for best practices in monitoring and performance.
• Drive efforts to enhance production stability and reliability throughout the year, especially in preparation for peak volume days and critical events.
• Utilize your infrastructure operations and reliability engineering experience to inform decision-making.
• Address complex technical challenges, with a focus on security and scalability of IT infrastructure for customer-facing applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Infrastructure Operations, Reliability Engineering, or Production Support.
• At least 2 years of experience as a technical manager with proven people leadership and performance management skills.
• Experience in the Retail or Ecommerce industry.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies, including SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
• A proactive, curious problem solver with a knack for root cause analysis and automation solutions.
• Demonstrated success in enhancing team productivity through automation.
