Roles & Responsibilities

• Extract data from mainframe applications and integrate it into modern systems for further processing.
• Automate transaction processing and reconciliation tasks using Java and Python to enhance efficiency.
• Identify and resolve transaction breaks or any other issues in the process, ensuring smooth operations.
• Oversee the transaction testing workflow, ensuring it aligns with system requirements and protocols.
• Work closely with mainframe application teams to understand existing processes and suggest improvements.
• Participate in data management tasks including gathering, validating, and structuring data to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe systems and automation technologies (Java, Python).
• Strong working knowledge of JCL, File-Aid, and REXX.
• Experience working with data streaming technologies like Kafka.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
