MUST HAVE SKILLS z/OS · Install, Upgrade, Migrate z/OS version · Parallel Sysplex, Sysplex knowledge · Fixes and APAR patch install and maintenance · Experience on troubleshooting BAU issues · Parmlib customization · IODF Level 3 Knowledge · HMC Level 3 Knowledge · SMP/e Level 3 · TCP/IP communication server knowledge · Performance analysis & recommendations using WLM, SAS and MXG in a full parallel Sysplex multi-lpar environment · Business Continuity experience (DR Drill and implementation) · Security Knowledge RACF administration · SMF, RMF Knowledge RACF · Overseeing RACF security administration. Maintains accounts to control access to information and applications, analyzes and resolve problems related to mainframe access control, user administration, and operating level system security. · Managing user administration (Removing, Granting group access or dataset access using CLIST, manual process through TSO RACF or through JCL)Creating and maintaining RACF, CICS, DB2, IMS databases security (including grating access to DB auth ids, functional ids, groups etc) · Working with customers and stakeholders to define access requirements and design access models (Roles, Groups, etc) · Focusing on Mainframe security issues regarding RACF assessment and remediation · Focus on Prevention of issues by schedule audit and running of automation jobs to make sure there are no security issues with regards to Offshore and Onshore access. Manage access based on the clients security levels described in the contract · Resolve issues arise due to new security implementations · Work and resolve access issues and incidents related to RACF and updates to RACF tables and provisions · Assist in resolving RACF related issues and support in Auditing of security requirements · Work on all maintenance and Operational activities.
