We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Consultant with strong expertise in payments processing and ACH systems to support enterprise-level banking applications. The role involves development, maintenance, production support, and enhancement of mainframe-based payment processing systems, ensuring smooth ACH operations and end-to-end transaction lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.
- Support ACH processing systems, including both batch and real-time transaction flows.
- Manage end-to-end payment lifecycle, including NACHA file processing, settlements, clearing, and reconciliation.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system enhancements and releases.
- Participate in testing activities, deployment cycles, and production support operations.
- Ensure system stability, performance, and compliance within payment processing environments.
- Support scheduled batch jobs and ensure timely execution of critical financial processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in mainframe application development and support.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Strong knowledge of ACH processing systems and NACHA standards.
- Experience in payment processing and banking transaction lifecycle.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in production environments.
- Ability to work in operations, scheduling, and batch processing environments.
