We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in COBOL application development with extensive hands-on experience in CICS, DB2, VSAM, and MQ. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex mainframe applications that are critical to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe-based applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
• Perform analysis, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of existing and new programs.
• Utilize Expeditor and other debugging tools to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Work with tools such as File-Aid, Endevor, CA-7, NDM, MFTS, and s-FTP for development and deployment activities.
• Develop and maintain Stored Procedures and integrate applications using MQ and XML.
• Create and maintain scripts using CLIST and REXX where needed.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and infrastructure teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.

Required Skills/Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Mainframe Application/COBOL development.
• 7+ years of experience with CICS, DB2, VSAM, and MQ in application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with debug tools such as Expeditor.
• Proficiency with File-Aid, Endevor, CA-7, NDM, MFTS, and s-FTP.
• Familiarity with XML, Stored Procedures, CLIST, and REXX scripting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
