• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and design efficient mainframe solutions.
• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using programming languages such as COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, and JCL.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and provide timely support to end-users.
• Collaborate with system administrators and database administrators to ensure seamless integration with other systems and databases.
• Stay updated with the latest mainframe technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mainframe Developer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience.
• Strong knowledge of mainframe technologies, including COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, JCL, and mainframe databases.
• Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting mainframe applications.
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
