Key Responsibilities

• Research existing mainframe programs and document flow charting findings
• Enhancing existing programs
• Writing custom one-time-only use programs to perform data modifications
• Documenting change evidence for FSA/SOX compliance
• Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
• Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.

Required Technical Skills

• 2+ years experience with Cat mainframe environment, preferably GIS Cluster C/A - COBOL development
• 3+ years -SQL / DB2 programming mainframe
• 3+ years -IMS or CICS development
• 2+ years (IMS preferred)
• 2+ years with debugging tools like Xpeditor, Abend-Aid.
• 2+ experience working with end customers on IT requirements/testing.
