Key Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and support third-party ISV products (IBM, CA, Mackinney, Macro4, etc.)
• Set up and maintain CICS regions
• Perform CICS upgrades and performance tuning
• Troubleshoot CICS issues and coordinate with IBM support
• Install IBM program products using SMP/E
• Manage z/OS components (APF, LINKLIST, LPA, VSAM)
• Support Disaster Recovery procedures and testing
• Use tools like Sysview for CICS and CA DADSplus
• Manage security-related tasks, particularly ACF2 configurations

Required Skills

• Strong experience in CICS administration and problem determination
• Proficient in IBM SMP/E for software installation
• Good understanding of z/OS internals and system utilities
• Experience with ACF2 security
• Familiarity with monitoring and automation tools (Sysview, CA DADSplus)
• Experience with Disaster Recovery planning and execution.
