Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead migration projects (CA-OPS/MVS to IBM System Automation and vice versa).
• Develop and deploy automated solutions (IPL automation, application recovery, ticket generation).
• Install, configure, and maintain z/OS systems; perform debugging and problem analysis.
• Support, implement, and enhance client automation code, including critical event management.
• Integrate automation tools across mainframe environments (multiple complexes/LPARs).
• Contribute to disaster recovery (DR) activities and infrastructure restores.
• Conduct feasibility studies and recommend automation solutions.
• Collaborate with teams to solve problems and resolve issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience with IBM System Automation (SA z/OS) and CA OPS/MVS.
• Proficiency in REXX, CLIST, and Netview PIPE Programming.
• Strong background in z/OS systems installation, configuration, and debugging.
• Experience with automation migrations, especially between CA OPS/MVS and IBM SA.
• Expertise in automation tool integration, functionality, and design for mainframe environments.
• Understanding of Disaster Recovery (DR) processes and infrastructure restores.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and provide automated solutions to eliminate manual processes.
