Roles and Responsibilities

• Define new subsystems, STCs to Automation.
• Responsible for developing & deploying automated solutions across the infrastructure to eliminate manual intervention.
• Automated IPLs, application recovery, and auto ticket generation.
• Implement & support infrastructure critical event management, remote console access & paging.< /span>
• Support Automation applications through various upgrade/maintenance activities, z/OS upgrades, Data Centre consolidation, CPU Refreshes, etc.
• Required Involvement in feasibility studies and recommending mainframe automation solutions across all the mainframe environments.

Required Qualifications

• Expertise required in Mainframe System Automation tools i.e., IBM SA for z/OS and CA OPS/MVS.
• Good experience in dealing with Migration projects - CA-OPS/MVS to IBM System Automation.
• Experience in working with multiple complexes/LPARs support.
• Understand IPL scripts and make modifications, implement Automation alerts for event management for threshold alert management
• Proficiency in REXX, CLIST, and Netview PIPE Programming.
• Good understanding of Infrastructure restores process during DR activities & tests.
