Responsibilities:

1. Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets for analysis.
2. Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems.
3. Develop predictive models, algorithms, and data-driven solutions to optimize processes and make informed decisions.
4. Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
5. Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to ensure data infrastructure is robust and efficient.
6. Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, presentations, and visualizations.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and AI to continuously improve methodologies and approaches.
8. Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on data science best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Data Scientist with 3 to 8 years of relevant work experience.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
4. Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms, data mining, and statistical analysis.
5. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
6. Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
8. Strong communication and presentation skills.
9. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
10. Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
